10. LARRY PAGE
Lawrence Edward Page, born March 26, 1973 (48 years), is an American computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur. He is most recognized as one of the co-founders of Google, along with Sergey Brin.
Page was the CEO of Google from 1997 to August 2001 (when he stepped down in favor of Eric Schmidt), again from April 2011 to July 2015, when he became CEO of Alphabet Inc., a position he held until December 4, 2019. He is still an Alphabet board member, employee, and majority shareholder. He is ranked ninth among the world’s most powerful people.
9. NARENDRA MODI
Narendra Damodardas Modi, born September 17, 1950 (71 years old), is an Indian politician who has been the country’s 14th and current Prime Minister since 2014. Modi served as Gujarat’s chief minister from 2001 to 2014, and he is a member of the Varanasi assembly. He is a member of the BJP as well as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing Hindu nationalist paramilitary volunteer organization.
He is the first prime minister born after India’s independence in 1947, and the second prime minister not affiliated with the Indian National Congress to win two consecutive majorities in India’s Lok Sabha, or lower house of parliament. He is placed ninth on the list of the world’s top 10 most powerful persons.
8. MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN AL SAUD
Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, born August 31, 1985 (36 years old), is a Saudi Arabian politician who serves as the country’s crown prince, deputy prime minister, and defense minister.
He is also the head of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs and the Chairman of the Council of Political and Security Affairs. He is the seventh son of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the eldest of six sons born to King Salman’s third wife, Fahda bint Falah Al Hithlain.
Mohammed bin Salman runs his father’s administration and is regarded as Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler. In June 2017, King Salman deposed his nephew Muhammad bin Nayef as crown prince and nominated Mohammed bin Salman in his stead. He is ranked eighth among the world’s top 10 most powerful persons.
7. BILL GATES
William Henry Gates III, born October 28, 1955 (66 years old), is a business entrepreneur, software developer, investor, author, and philanthropist from the United States. He and his late boyhood buddy Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft.
During his tenure at Microsoft, Gates held the offices of chairman, CEO, president, and chief software architect, as well as being the company’s biggest individual shareholder until May 2014. He was a key figure in the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s. He is ranked seventh among the world’s top 10 most powerful persons.
6. POPE FRANCIS
Since 2013, Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio on December 17, 1936 (85 years old), has served as the head of the Catholic Church and the ruler of the Vatican City State.
Francis is the first pope from the Americas, the first from the Southern Hemisphere, and the first from outside Europe since Gregory III, a Syrian who reigned in the eighth century. He is placed sixth on the list of the world’s most powerful persons.

Jeffrey Preston Bezos, born January 12, 1964 (58 years old), is an American businessman, media mogul, investor, computer engineer, and commercial astronaut. He is the founder and executive chairman of Amazon, where he was previously president and CEO.
Bezos is the world’s second-wealthiest person, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, and the third-wealthiest person, according to Forbes, with a net worth of roughly US$176 billion as of February 2022. He is ranked fifth among the world’s top 10 most powerful persons.
4. ANGELA MERKEL
Angela Dorothea Merkel, born 17 July 1954 (67 years old), is a German former politician and scientist who served as Germany’s chancellor from 2005 to 2021. She was a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and previously served as Leader of the Opposition from 2002 to 2005 and as Leader of the CDU from 2000 to 2018.
Merkel was the country’s first female chancellor. During her stint as Chancellor, Merkel was regularly referred to as the de facto head of the European Union (EU) and the world’s fourth most powerful woman.

Donald John Trump, born June 14, 1946 (75 years old), is a businessman, politician, and media personality who served as the 45th President of the United States from 2017 to 2021. He is the world’s third most powerful person.
2. VLADIMIR PUTIN
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, born 7 October 1952 (69 years old), is a Russian politician and former intelligence officer who now serves as Russia’s president.
He has been in this job since 2012, and he previously held it from 1999 to 2008. From 1999 to 2000, and again from 2008 to 2012, he served as Prime Minister. Putin is Europe’s second-longest-serving president, after Alexander Lukashenko. He is the world’s second most powerful person.

Xi Jinping was born on June 15, 1953 ( 68 years old), and is a Chinese politician who has served as General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) since 2012, and as President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) since 2013.
Since 2012, Xi has served as China’s supreme leader and the country’s most visible political leader. He is ranked first among the world’s most powerful individuals.
