The Grand Velas Los Cabos Resort, Mexico, sells the most expensive Taco in the world. The Taco by chef Juan Licerio includes caviar, gold leaves, Kobe beef, langoustine, beluga caviar, blue truffle brie cheese, and more.
To pair with the taco, the resort suggests a $150,000 platinum and white gold bottle of Tequila Ley 925. To order the taco, you have to already be staying in the resort’s presidential suite. and, you’ll need to put down a $12,500 deposit to score the dish.
9. The Chocolate Pudding (US $35,000)
Made by Chef Marc Guibert of the Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel in England’s Lake District, the chocolate pudding is available in the hotel’s Burger Brasserie restaurant. The chocolate pudding is made from high-end chocolate, gold, caviar, and a two-carat diamond.
It is also layered with champagne jelly and laced with edible gold. Soothing flavors include a hint of orange, peach, and smooth whiskey. The chocolate is specially imported from Belgium.
8. THE SEAFOOD TREASURE (£2,000)
Served at Bombay Brasserie, a Taj Hotels property in London, the dish consists of a lobster coated in edible gold, Devon crab, Beluga caviar, white truffle, four abalones, and also four quail’s eggs.

The Fortress Resort & Spa in Galle, Sri Lanka, claims to sell the world’s most expensive dessert at a base price of $14,500 U.S. It is prepared only for special requests. The dessert features a stilt fisherman that is handmade from chocolate.
The base of it is an Italian cassata, flavored with Baileys Irish Cream.
It is beautifully served with a mango and pomegranate compote and a Champagne sabayon sauce and is adorned with gold leaf.
Making it truly unique, the dessert features an 80-carat aquamarine stone that sits on the fisherman’s chocolate stilt. the resort has sold just two of them since introducing the Fortress Stilt Fisherman Indulgence in 2007.
5. GRAND VELAS TACOS (US$25,000)
The Grand Velas Los Cabos resort in Mexico features Kobe beef, caviar, and truffle cheese, wrapped inside a gold-infused tortilla.
The taco is also served with an exotic salsa comprised of dried Morita chili peppers, Ley.925 ultra-premium añejo tequila, and topped with civet coffee beans.
To order the taco, you have to already be staying in the resort’s “presidential suite.” And, you’ll need to put down a $12,500 deposit to score the dish.
4. Golden Opulence Sundae (US$1,000)
The Golden Opulence Sundae is a Sundae that is served by special order at the New York City restaurant Serendipity. The dessert features three scoops of Tahitian vanilla ice cream covered in 23-karat gold leaf, almonds, caviar, and a sugar-forged orchid that takes eight hours to build.
It is served in a Baccarat crystal goblet worth US$ 350 with an 18k gold spoon. It is made using high-quality ingredients that include chocolate from Tuscany, vanilla beans from Madagascar, and candied fruit from Paris. Its cone comes with gelato and is topped with caramelized pecans.
It also includes white chocolate truffles, a raspberry macaron, fruit-filled pipettes, edible diamonds, and gold leaf.
3. Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata (US$2,000)
The Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata, includes 10 ounces of Sevruga caviar, an entire lobster, six fresh eggs, cream, chives, and lobster sauce.
The Omelet is served over a bed of Yukon gold potatoes at the Norma’s in Le Parker Meridien Hotel in Manhattan. It also comes with a note reading “Norma Dares You to Expense This.” Business breakfast, anyone?
It has also been mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive omelet in the world.
2. FLEUR BURGER 5000 (US$5,000)
Fleur Burger 5000 is the most expensive burger not only in the USA but also in the world. Served in Hubert Keller in Fluer’s, a restaurant in the Mandalay Bay, in Las Vegas, Fleur Burger 5000 is served with a bottle of 1995 Chateau Petrus 5000 wine.
The mouthwatering dish features Wagyu beef and is topped with foie grass and truffles.
1. Louis XIII Pizza (US$ 12,000)
According to Louis XIII, the most expensive pizza in the world is known to have been created by Renato Viola, a master pizza chef, in Italy. The pizza was initially created for two people and was just 20 cm.
The crust is prepared 72 hours in advance, and the whole thing is served with a bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac. Most of the ingredients for the pizza are sourced from France and Italy.
It is made of ingredients like three types of caviar – Oscietra Royal Prestige, Kaspia Oscietra Royal Classic from the Iranian coast, and Kaspia Beluga.
Besides the caviar, the pizza also features a very expensive lobster that has been shipped from Norway, along with seven types of cheese. Costing as much as US$ 12,000, the Louis XIII pizza is served in Salerno, Italy.
