8. Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda

7. Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3
Between 1968 and 1972, Mercedes-Benz produced the 300SEL, a spacious and luxury sedan.
It was originally equipped with an inline-6 engine, but one of Mercedes’ engineers, Erich Waxenberger, chose to install the enormous 6.3-liter V8 from the Mercedes-Benz 600.
