In the early 1990s, after establishing himself as a rising action star, he scored his breakout role as Eric Draven in the dark fantasy picture The Crow. Lee’s career, unfortunately, was cut short by his untimely death during the filming of The Crow.

The autopsy ultimately found that Lee died as a consequence of a.44-caliber bullet located near his spine. The movie set’s safety was questioned as a result.
